What you need before your first hand

Open The Club in a current browser or launch it through Telegram. To take part in a game, sign in with an available account method; the browser login page offers Google and Telegram. A stable connection helps you stay at the table while a hand is in progress.

The game uses chips for tournament stacks and entries. Each event shows its own entry amount and rules, so review the details before registering. Tournament chips measure progress in the event; they do not each represent a fixed cash value.

Choose a tournament that fits your session

The tournament lobby separates events that are about to start from games already in progress. Check the start time, entry amount, expected pace and any re-entry or prize information shown for that event. Choose a game you have time to finish, since a tournament can continue after you lose a few hands.

The Club focuses on tournaments. If you are comparing formats, our guide to cash games and tournaments explains how chip value, blind levels and leaving a game differ.

Sign in, register and take a seat

Open the game and sign in. In the tournament lobby, select an event and read its conditions. For an upcoming tournament, use the registration action; if a tournament is already running, the lobby may offer a join action under that event’s rules. You need enough game chips for the displayed entry amount.

Before confirming, check the start time and whether the event allows a late entry or a re-entry. Availability and conditions are set by each tournament, so use the event listing as the source of truth.

Follow the first hand

In Texas Hold’em, each player receives two private cards and shares up to five community cards. The goal is to make the best five-card hand from the cards available. Review the rules of Texas Hold’em and the poker hand rankings if you want to learn the deal and compare combinations first.

On your turn, the available actions depend on the bets already made: you may fold, check, call, bet or raise. You do not have to play every hand. To understand why action order matters, read about poker positions and blinds and betting rounds.

Keep learning between tournaments

After a game, revisit one decision at a time: your starting cards, your position and the size of the blinds. The guides to starting hands and poker tournament structure are useful next steps.

When you are ready, sign in to The Club and check the current tournament lobby. Event times, entry amounts and rules can change, so confirm them in the game before registering.
